Build-Operate-Transfer
Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) is the engagement model of choice for enterprises that want a captive capability but lack the in-country presence, talent network or operational bandwidth to build it themselves. Under a BOT, alticdigital incorporates and operates the centre on the client’s behalf, builds the team and the operating model, runs the centre for an agreed period — typically 18 to 36 months — and then transfers people, processes, IP, infrastructure and contracts to the client on a pre-agreed milestone. It collapses the time-to-operate of a GCC from years to quarters, with the setup risk carried by the provider rather than the client.
How alticdigital stands apart
Contractual Transfer Clarity
Every BOT we sign defines, on Day 1, the precise legal, financial and operational mechanics of the transfer — including talent retention guarantees and IP-migration playbooks.
Pre-Built Reference Operating Model
Our BOTs go live on top of a pre-built reference operating model — finance, HR, security, IT, audit, vendor management — saving 6 to 9 months of greenfield work.
AI-Accelerated Ramp
AI copilots handle a meaningful share of L1 / L2 operational work from week one, letting the client realise the productivity dividend before the transfer milestone, not after.
Talent Continuity Engineering
The transfer succeeds or fails on talent retention. We design hire-to-retain incentives, joint client-provider career constructs and tiered transfer bonuses calibrated to local market norms.
Audit-Ready Transfer Pack
On transfer date the client receives a full audit pack — every policy, runbook, vendor contract, security control and certification — ready for board sign-off and external assurance.
Post-Transfer Steady-State Support
A defined 12-month post-transfer support tail keeps key alticdigital architects available to the client through stabilisation — without the cost of an ongoing managed service.
BOT adoption across industries
| Industry | Trend |
|---|---|
| Manufacturing and Industrials | Global manufacturers entering India, Vietnam, Mexico and the GCC are using BOT to stand up engineering, analytics and Industry 4.0 centres faster than a greenfield GCC build allows. |
| BFSI Mid-Tier and Insurance | Tier-2 and Tier-3 banks and insurers want captive capability but cannot justify the standalone setup cost — BOT is the dominant model for digital-banking and InsurTech captives in the GCC region and ASEAN. |
| Pharma and Medical Devices | Clinical operations, pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs and medical-device cybersecurity centres are increasingly being stood up under BOT in India, Poland and Ireland. |
| Telecom and Media | OSS / BSS modernisation, AI-driven network operations and content engineering centres are being launched under BOT to balance speed with eventual captive ownership. |
| Energy Transition and Renewables | Renewable asset operators, charging-network operators and battery players use BOT to acquire digital and AI capabilities they did not historically need to own. |
| Public Sector and Government-Adjacent | Sovereign-cloud, citizen-services and defence-adjacent engineering centres routinely use BOT to access international talent and methods while landing eventual ownership inside the sovereign perimeter. |
Let’s build your captive capability together
From incorporation to transfer, our BOT model collapses the time-to-operate of a GCC from years to quarters — with setup risk carried by alticdigital, not you.
